Please, just have the courage to let go of the people who leave your heart confused. Let go of the people who make you feel like you are compromising all that you desire, and all that you hope for, and all of the goodness and the beauty that you know exists in this world, for a skinny version of love. Let go of falling in love with potential, let go of falling in love with the idea of someone rather than who they truly are. How could you not fall in love with the glow of the moon and stars, the warmth of the sun, the ancient life within the trees, and the sweet melodies of the winds?

I love people with a friendly, down to earth, chill vibe. People without pretence or pride, who don't make you feel like you have to act a certain way to impress them, or that they're silently judging you. you're comfortable around them and you can just be yourself. their whole aura is so welcoming and warm.

When you get older, you value things differently. You can see how precious it is to have peace of mind, to sleep with your heart feeling at ease. You can see the true price of everything and everyone in your life. Time slows down and you can savor moments much better. Because the older you get, the more you understand. How everything is temporary. How everything is just passing. Even yourself. And there's nothing for you to do. Except to enjoy the present. And pass in this life in peace. -Metanoia

Do you know what I love? How closely nature is linked with mentality. A walk in the woods can calm anxiety, sitting and dropping stones into a lake can ease anger, even taking time to pot some plants and look after them can keep my mind occupied from dissociation. It's like the earth is the oldest psychiatrist of all, and it is always there to talk to, giving me a constant free prescription. Isn't that beautiful.
