Aim to be the person who goes "what were you saying?" when someone is interrupted. Aim to be the person who tries to genuinely understand people's point of view. Aim to be the person who smiles when people make eye contact with you. Aim to be the person who actually cares to listen to the answer when you ask people a question. Aim to be the person who waits when you see someone lagging behind the group. Aim to be the person who asks people who seem a bit down whether they want to talk about it. Aim to be the person who invites others to join the group. Aim to be the person who says compliments out loud. Aim to be the person who checks in when someone isolates themselves. Do you know what I love? How closely nature is linked with mentality. A walk in the woods can calm anxiety, sitting and dropping stones into a lake can ease anger, even taking time to pot some plants and look after them can keep my mind occupied from dissociation. It's like the earth is the oldest psychiatrist of all, and it is always there to talk to, giving me a constant free prescription. Isn't that beautiful.

People who wait for you to tie your shoe. People who shift closer to you when you're subconsciously moving away while you're walking next to them. People who smile at you as soon as you make eye contact. People who seek you out to tell you some good news. People who listen to you and hear you and understand you. Do not make the mistake of ever convincing yourself that everyone is a bad person when you yourself have done this and not even thought twice about it.

It's nice to be told you're beautiful or hot or whatever, but I'd love to hear some say that I make things easier, that they're happy I exist, they don't know what they'd do with out me, I'm strong, that they hope we never lose each other, that they're proud of me, that I have something to offer. Compliments don't always have to be about appearance.

Really just want to live a quiet life with  quiet, genuine, humble people. Not  interested in loud people or dramatic  situations. Just want peace, and the sun,  and tenderness, and warmth.
