Please, just have the courage to let go of the people who leave your heart confused. Let go of the people who make you feel like you are compromising all that you desire, and all that you hope for, and all of the goodness and the beauty that you know exists in this world, for a skinny version of love. Let go of falling in love with potential, let go of falling in love with the idea of someone rather than who they truly are. How could you not fall in love with the glow of the moon and stars, the warmth of the sun, the ancient life within the trees, and the sweet melodies of the winds?

I love people with a friendly, down to earth, chill vibe. People without pretence or pride, who don't make you feel like you have to act a certain way to impress them, or that they're silently judging you. you're comfortable around them and you can just be yourself. their whole aura is so welcoming and warm.

When you get older, you value things differently. You can see how precious it is to have peace of mind, to sleep with your heart feeling at ease. You can see the true price of everything and everyone in your life. Time slows down and you can savor moments much better. Because the older you get, the more you understand. How everything is temporary. How everything is just passing. Even yourself. And there's nothing for you to do. Except to enjoy the present. And pass in this life in peace. -Metanoia

People who wait for you to tie your shoe. People who shift closer to you when you're subconsciously moving away while you're walking next to them. People who smile at you as soon as you make eye contact. People who seek you out to tell you some good news. People who listen to you and hear you and understand you. The thing about being kind these days is that we think a lot before being one. The way this life has pierced our hearts, we are losing the innocence we were born with.But we shouldn't give life back what we never wanted from it, instead we should give it something we have always wanted for ourselves. So that someone, somewhere could feel that way, the way we have always wished to. It's really comforting to know that all the times  I was at my lowest and loneliest in the past the  whole time i had my self in the future and present  who had survived those things looking back with  love and tenderness and wishing desperately to  offer comfort. I am my own guardian angel and I can use that knowledge when I'm struggling now and remember that somewhere there is a version of me that has survived this and is watching me with love and pride and joy in his heart.
