RABI AL-AWWAL MUBARAK

Image
RABI AL-AWWAL GEMS: MAKE SALAWAT! O Muslims! We are under obligation as fard al-‘ayn and fard al-wajib to make salawat on ProphetMuhammad ﷺ every second, but we are not doing it. Allah (swt) ordered us to do it in every breath! Why? Verily, Allah and His angels send praise on the Prophet. O Believers! Pray upon him and greet him with a worthy salutation! (HolyQuran, 33:56) Allah sends salawat non-stop from Bahr ul-Qudra, the Ocean of Power, and wants to include us in that immense baraka! So ReadSalawat daily at least a hundred times. ~Shaykh Hisham Kabbani❤️

Six Sunnahs you can do in the rain

Image
Ever wondered what are the Sunnah actions to do when it rains? Here’s a quick list to get you started of what to do during all the different stages of rainfall. Ask Allah to make it beneficial The first thing to do when it starts raining is to say “اللّهُمَّ صَيِّـباً نَافِعاً”, which means “May Allah grant us beneficial rain”. -Sunan An-Nisai Perhaps your sincere supplication will ward off any potential harm of the coming rain and instead bring about a great benefit. Stand under the rain Try to catch a few raindrops onto your clothing in hopes of receiving some of the blessings of the rain. Anas Bin Malik reported “Whilst we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rain fell upon us. The Messenger then exposed part of his garment so that rain fell on his body. When we asked him why he did so, he replied “Because it has just come from the Exalted Lord”. -Sahih Muslim Call upon Allah One of the most likely times of having your supplications accepted, is when it rains, so do

Where is our Osmansagar?

Image
Where is Osmansagar? Why is nobody talking about Osmansagar? Why Osman Sagar is turning bone dry in spite of heavy rains? NOTE: This news is taken from The Siasat dairy Twitter handle dated August 18 Hyderabad: At one point of time, a few years ago, the Nizam-era Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar lakes used to supply about 10 per cent of Hyderabad’s total daily water supply of 345 million gallons per day (MGD). Cut to 2020 and the lakes are literally nowhere close to their optimum levels, with Osman Sagar being literally barren today, in spite of continuous rains during this monsoon season. The century-old  Osman Sagar astonishingly has not received any inflows despite continuous rainfall over the last three days. Once a picnic spot and destination for those seeking some greenery in Hyderabad, it is currently shut as the public is barred from visiting it. When visiting the lake on Monday, the view clearly punched below its weight due to the depleted water levels. Despite the continuou
