THE LAST SERMON OF PROPHET MUHAMMADﷺ "Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds This sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 AH, in the Uranah valley of Mount Arafat (in Mecca). After praising, and thanking God he said: "O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today. O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Muslims around the world boycott French Products after government continuously showcased inappropriate drawings of prophet Muhammad on government buildings in an attempt to stand in solidarity with teacher who was murdered. The teacher showcased these pictures in class to talk about freedom of speech. Muslims in the class tried to get the teacher fired for it, but an 18 year old refugee student took matter in his own hands and killed the teacher. Police showed up and killed the boy right after. The situation in France was already precarious after the stabbing attack on the Muslim girls near the Eiffel tower. President Macron’s false remark “Islam is in crisis worldwide” particularly angered Muslims. The “repeated insults” to Islam and the prophet by continuously displaying the offensive cartoons prompted retail firms in Kuwait and other countries to pull French products from their shelves.
