The fourth month of the Islamic calendar

The fourth month of the Islamic calendar is Rabi ul -Akhir (Thani). In this very month 11th Rabi ul Thani was the birth of the king of Baghdad, Chief of the contented souls, the incomparable,

Rabi Ul Thani Mubarak- The Month of Master of Saints Ya Ghawth Al Azam Dastagir

He is Al-Hasani wal-Hussaini

The Master of the ‘Awliya, the leader of the men of the unseen, Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,

The knower of secrets, the key to sainthood,

The one who uttered “my foot is on the neck of every saint” Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,

The helper of the needy Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, the one whose gaze transformed robbers to saints Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,

You visit your lovers in dreams,

Some are able to gaze at your face whilst others can not take a single glance, your voice sends your lovers into a trance, your autonomy is Baghdad, from there the Saints seek solace.”Hadrat Ghawth al-A'zam, Sayyiduna Shaykh Muhiyuddin, Abd'al-Qadir al-Jilani, al-Hassani w'al-Hussaini, Bhagdadi Rahmatulla Alayhi.

In this month we should make arrangements to offer Niyaaz and Fateha of the Saint of Baghdad. Charity is also given in the name of Pious Saints of Islam as a means of conveying reward to these blessed from which not only the poor benefit a great deal but the souls of the believers also obtain peace and contentment.

May Allah Almighty grant us all the spiritual blessings of Ghawth al-A'zam Sayyiduna Shaykh 'Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (Radhy Allahu Ta'ala 'Anhu). Ameen.
