There was a time when every night ended in tears, every silence became overthinking, every uncertainty felt frightening, and every unanswered question weighed heavily on my heart. I mistook delays for disappointments, closed doors for loss, and broken expectations for abandonment. But now I see what I could not see then. Allah was not depriving me, He was protecting me. Every path that never opened, every mixed signal that disturbed my heart, every plan that fell apart, and every feeling that never settled... they were all acts of His mercy.  Even the things I forced myself to hold onto, hoping they would work out, were gently taken away before they could leave deeper wounds. He saved me from burdens I was too blind to recognise and from trials that could have shattered my heart even further. SubhanAllah, what I once called heartbreak was, in reality, divine protection. Cats in Islam💖🥀

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was fond of cats🐱🐾


Prophet Muhammad ﷺ being the messenger of Allah SWT and a role model for the mankind was very Compassionate person and he taught Muslims to love animals and show a compassionate behaviour towards them, Try not to disturb anyone sleeping even though if it is an animal.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fondness for cats is conveyed in his hadith: "Affection for cats is part of faith" (Maqasid al-Hasanah, al-Sakhawi). So, loving a cat is a sign that someone is a believer. When Prophet Muhammad came across a black-and-white Abyssinian cat breastfeeding her kitten during the Uhud campaign, he changed the course of his soldiers. On his way back he adopted this cat and gave her the name "Muezza." One day, he slightly tipped his cup so that a cat passing by could drink some water.
And loved his cat muezza.🖤

Verily, there is heavenly reward for every act of kindness done to a living animal.🥀

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "A good deed done to an animal is like a good deed done to a human being, while an act of cruelty to an animal is as bad as cruelty to a human being."💕

The Messenger of Allah said: A woman was punished in hell because of a cat which she had confined until it dead.
She did not give it to eat or to drink when it was confined, nor did she free it so that it might eat the vermin of earth. 💕

Narrated by Abu Hurairah; Ibn Majah:369.

A companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was given the name Abu Hurairah, which means "father of cats." Abu Hurairah was given this name because wherever he went, he always had a cat with him. It is even said among the people that Prophet Muhammad stroked the back of a cat for strangling a snake that was about to harm someone and that is why cats land on four feet and not on their backs.

Being kept around and being fully chosen are two very different things.  One feels like waiting in the background of someone’s life, the other feels like being the reason they show up. Being kept is convenience , answered when it’s easy, remembered when it’s lonely. But being chosen is intention, consistent, certain, and proud. You won’t have to question where you stand, when someone truly chooses you. There is no confusion in genuine care. So don’t settle for almost, for sometimes, for “when it suits them.” You deserve someone who doesn’t just keep you, but claims you with clarity, with effort, with their whole heart. Because love should never feel like you’re waiting to be picked.
